Spring Food Drive
It's that time of year again! Moanalua has always been generous with food donations, and with the poor economy, even more people will be looking for assistance. You can do your share by bring canned foods, dry noodles or bags of rice to your homeroom between now and March 7. Also, monetary donations are accepted. Every fifty-cents will count as one item. Remember, you will be helping others less fortunate and, this is also a class competition! All donations must be brought to the back of the library by the end of CAP on March 7.- S. Pang

WEAR RED Day
Thursday, February 14 is WEAR RED Day. If your Period 1 class has the highest percentage of students wearing red, your class wins a prize! In order to be counted, you must be wearing at least 50% red meaning your entire shirt, entire pants or skirt, or aloha or mixed print with majority red. You will not be counted if you are wearing only red socks, shoes or have only a red accessory such as a hair band.- S. Pang

If you registered for AP Language next year, please attend an orientation meeting on Friday, February 15 during lunch in the library. You will learn more about the class expectations and the new spring assessment procedure. - L. Voss
